Well well well, I made it to Quito, my first stop. The worse thing about any trip is getting to the final destination and this one is no exception!!! Long flight, full plane and really tough landing... I should have known that, landing at 10,000 ft is no walk in the park but rather a roller coaster ride !! And to make things worse, the long line at the emigration and customs and then a 45 minute taxi ride through some mountain road to my hotel so all in all not the start that I wanted but a start none the less... I hope tomorrow, which starts in 5 hours, will be better !! Will post some pics tomorrow ...
