What a glorious day we had today!! We woke up early, 10 am 😂, and after a quick breakfast headed out to a beautiful beach in a gorgeous location between rocks. The drive was not bad, about and hour away from our hotel. As we get closer, the terrain got rockier and steeper! Finding parking was a challenge in this place as it seems to be a very popular beach! After circling around for while we did find a parking spot so we took everything we needed out of the car and we were on our way down this very steep and rocky terrain… One needs to be very very careful not to miss a step or twist an ankle here.. In any case, we made it down to the beach unharmed, now finding a spot to sit was another story.. we just scouted the whole place and found a tiny place between rocks… putting up our beach umbrellas was the next challenge that we had to pass, that one was not easy, as our umbrellas went flying in the wind few times… so as you can see, we went through so much trouble to settle in in this tiny beach between rocks that many people come to because … the beach was so cute and so remote that you are literally between two giants rock cliffs… kids and adults alike did a lot of jumping from those cliffs into the water.. some jumped from high up and some from rocks near the water … the day ended in the city of Chania hunting for a good place to eat but with a big screen TV to watch a soccer game between PSG and Chelsey for the title of world champion!! Walking in Chania at night was amazing….
