Today is a relaxing day in Grenada… my friend’s research collaborator who has been with us since I arrived has gone back to Germany so we are just the three amigos from high school!! Our Grenada host is busy with school so the two of us decided to walk around town.. Grenada is a beautiful city by every measure, history, culture and architecture !! One thing they do well in Spain and Portugal is creation of heat islands! It is an area of town which has very large trees that form a canopy of sorts and one sit on banches there to evade the head of the day… During the day we made a couple of coffee stops and once my host finished his job at the university, we had lunch together.. then the three of us continued sightseeing …
