Well I decided to slow my pace a little so I am still in Dresden today! This is a great city to take time off and do some sightseeing and visiting museums and just relaxing! However, given the heat wave, one has to stay hydrated and protected from sun burns… With a recommendation from a local friend , I decided to visit the Mathematical-physical salon in the Swinger and I also bought tickets for a guided tour of the Opera House! The sequence of these visits was in conflict, but after talking to the people in the Swinger, they were soo sweet and allowed me to go to the Opera House show then come back and finish my visit in the Swinger!! It was my lucky day I guess, I should have bought a lottery ticket may I will win … who knows? The Opera house tour was great, especially that Acoustics was mentioned several times 😂 by the guide!! I did ask few questions to the guide and she answered them well! However, the place I spent a lot of time in was Swinger the engineering section of it… there were a lot machinery on display that was used through the centuries and that was fascinating to me … there was lots of physics and mathematics involved in creating them.. For a while I was the only one in this exhibit! But them school kids arrived with their teacher for a hand’s on science class… that was nice surprise.. off course I moved on to other exhibits …
