Paris: Hot and Humid after the Storms

It is Tuesday and I have a very busy schedule today as I had some paperwork to do to see if I can close the chapter on my dad's life in France long before I was born!! Yes my dad worked in France before and after WWII and got a pension from France once he reached retirement age! My assignment was to close permanently that account! Well, that is easier said than done! Once we found the bank, Credit Lyonnais, I quickly found out that I needed a lot more paperwork than I had with me so it was a no go, but at least I learned what I needed to get done before closing this painful chapter!

After the bank my nephew decided to take me to Versailles, which was not far from where we were! As we approached, it was clear why it is so famous!!! It is an amazing place!! Beautiful boulevards with trees everywhere and great buildings all over the place. That was just a prelude to what is to come; Le Chateaux de Versailles itself!! I was wowed by what I saw... Just amazing structures and huge gardens!! Here are some pictures .....
