Well, everything has a beginning and an ending so yesterday very early morning we left Crete for Paris. We had a great time in Crete and I will be back!! Paris was gray today fitting for our somber mood. We all took a long nap since we did not sleep much the night before.. In the afternoon, my nephew organized a surprise meeting with cousins I have not seem in 40+ years!! The meeting was in a coffee shop!!! Where else, you would ask ? Everything happens in coffee shops in this place.. the meeting was very emotional.. my cousins were sooo happy to see me and I was too.. We talked about old times, their parents and the Frendi village where we all grew up!!! We even agreed to create an association with a membership fee to benefit village projects! Needless to say the meeting went very well, especially that the coffee shop was run by Algerian who provided tea, coffee and Algerian pastries!! The meeting ended late in the afternoon and we headed home … the evening was quiet.. I went to sleep early for a change….
