After a hard day yesterday at Balos Beach, we opted for an easy sightseeing day in Chania. First, my nephew’s wife wanted to visit some of the people she knew in Chania when she was a student here. So we all went to downtown Chania and started looking for then in their business locations… To our big surprise, she found most of them still in the same stores she left them. She chatted with them while we looked around the stores! Once done with this task we headed to the waterfront for a seafood lunch. We had a great lunch with all sorts of fish on the big dish they brought us to share.. Off course the kids had their own meals… After lunch, the kids went swimming with their mom in the beach in front of the restaurant, while my nephew and I enjoyed our coffees… the quiet day ended quietly back in the apartment… An early bed time was in order, as tomorrow will be a long day… hiking through an iconic park !!!
