Girona Day III: Rain

I added one more day to make up my mind where to go from Girona, I am glad I did because I woke up to some big rain with lightning and thunder so I was grounded for a while but not for long because I had a water proof jacket as well as a poncho so I was equipped for rain.. I walked to my favorite bakery and had another capuchino and waited for the rain to stop but apparently not.. so walked back to the hotel to wait it out... before long the sun broke through the clouds and voila a brilliant sunshine followed with less humidity and a nice cool breeze... wow what a difference a day makes in the mountains.. I went back out and starting roaming the same streets again... this could be my last day in Girona for now or may be forever... who knows... I visited the Jewish quarter and then had my last super near the cathedral... I have to say Girona is a great place to visit not for three days like I did  but for a day only... I stayed three days by choice, I needed the rest...  next up Andorra!!

A line for ice-cream and i had some and it was worth the wait

Cafes are full again but in the day time now
The moorish influence is visible even this far north in Catalonia

Nice side street at night in Girona

There is a visible Jewish past in Girona
