Well today was another travel day… planning to be in Le Mans by evening passing through Paris! Why Le Mans? I have a good friend from high school (male) who is married to another good friend from college (female) so both husband and wife are my friends so I decided to pay them a first ever visit! I knew it was going to be a long day so i relaxed in the morning at my friend’s home before heading to the train station. Geneva train station is nice and easy to navigate … It took me no time to find my TGV train and settled in my seat. At first the train was slow because of the terrain but it speeded up after Lyon to reach as planned into Gare de Lyon in Paris!! Navigating Gare de Lyon was hard.. at first I left the station to see if I could get a cab but boy was it expensive so I went right back in to solve the puzzle. It took just few minutes to finally figure out everything thanks to the help of some nice passengers. Speaking French was also very helpful.. When I got to the Montparnasse station, i bought the train ticket to Le Mans. Unfortunately, the TGV was having technical problems so i had to take a normal train which put me behind by one hour but I am on vacation so time is all I have…. I arrived at Le Mans at 8:30 pm and my friend was waiting for me so I got in his car and we were off to his nice house. His wife was waiting with an amazing dinner so we immediately started dinner as it was getting late already…. The dinner was delicious… she made several authentic berber dishes which I loved…
