Our last full day has come and gone and now I am sitting here on the beautiful balcony writing my last post from Greece, a sad post! I am sad to leave this beautiful place, but also happy I have discovered it as well.. so it is a mixed feeling of sorts!! One thing I also know is I will be back if my health permits.. I really enjoyed my stay in this small town of Stavros with its beautiful beach with no waves, no jelly fish and very clear water. I already made some friends at the local market, they even gave me free cake this morning when I told them it was my last morning!! People are just so sweet here.. Restaurants give you free desert and a drink if a group of people order a full meal… Chania the big city nearby is just amazingly beautiful.. It was buzzing with activity today… The weather in Crete has been excellent the whole week, warm and dry with awesome breezes in the evenings and cool mornings .. I will miss this place, its people, its beaches and weather…
