We woke up today ready to drive to new beach far away from our apartment… Well, faraway is relative when you are on a small island… It actually took us just 2 hours to get there but we had to deal with a 6 mile stretch of dirt road with lots of rocks… thank god it was a rental not my car :) we had to pay to get in as it is a private beach but worth every penny!! Finding parking was an adventure and getting down to the beach was another one!! The walk was long and steep with lots of steps so one has to be extra careful not to sprain and ankle or break a leg :) The return trip was even worse as we were all exhausted .. the beach itself was divided into several sections, naturally not by humans, a very shallow section, followed by a chest deep section and then a normal beach far away … it was ideal for kids and adults alike!! The water temperature was awesome …. We stayed there until sunset before heading back to the apartment… we were all exhausted so we just showered and went to sleep … I have yet to sleep before midnight during this vacation!!
