Today is a day for Seattle so after breakfast we picked up our car from the garage and we were off to the space needle area where, apparently, parking is plentiful. We crossed a toll bridge from Bellevue to Seattle with no toll booth to be seen, may be the bill will show up in the mail later. Once at the space needle, finding free on street parking was not as easy as advertised so we decided to just be safe and park in a paying lot instead. Once parked we headed to the space needle. Louiza was not too thrilled to go up to the top but I convinced her to do so if not she would regret being so close and not going up. There were lots of people but the lines were moving fast and before too long we were on top enjoying the Seattle skyline and feeling dizzy looking down through the glass floor. We took tons of pictures ... once done, we came back down and headed to pike’s place. We took the monorail, it was cute! Within minutes we arrived at our destination, pike’s place. This place was buzzing with people ... all sorts of interesting businesses in this crowded space. It reminded of Quincy market in Boston and some other markets around the world ... Louiza has her list of places to visit so I just followed her everywhere. Once done in this area of town we went back to the space needle area and went into the museum of pop culture. I really enjoyed the museum and so did Louiza. She spent lots of time at the Nirvana exhibit. By mid afternoon we headed to lunch. Louiza chose a Thai restaurant with good reviews! After that we picked the car and headed to some suburbs where Louiza had some places to visit like the troll place where I could not park so Louiza got out took a picture and we were off to the next place ... Seattle suburbs are pretty safe and cute little towns of their own. The day ended back at the hotel where we had a drink and decided to call it the day... here are some pics from today...
