Day 3 Travel to Porto

 Lisbon was great but I cannot stop there, I have to keep moving!! I decided to go north to Porto, Portugal’s second largest city.. they also have a great soccer team among other things!! I used Uber to the train station then took the train to Porto… the ride took 3 hours and it was very comfortable!! Two Apps on my phone I am using extensively are; Uber and Omio! Uber for car rides and Omio for trains… love these apps, they make my life easy and stress free !! I did dose off a bit on the train but I was alert to all movements around me… we made several stops on the way to Porto, this is not an express train! We arrived in Porto around 3 pm !! I had a minor scare when i tried to find my hotel reservation in my email… I clicked on the address and to my big shock it pointed me back to Lisbon !!!!! I m like what did i do ??? Then I went to a taxi driver and showed him my address and he immediately said, oh yeah I know where that is so i got in his car and we drove off ..  there strikes and demonstrations in Porto so we needed to avoid the closed streets which made the ride longer but it was ok with me !! He got me to my hotel which was in the middle of the city next to city hall… wow I said I will go see the mayor!!! I was happy to hear the hotel front desk I did gave a réservation indeed so whatever my phone was telling me was not right… My hotel room was clean with a huge bed enough for 4 people my size.. I immediately jumped in the shower and took a short nap before going out to get some dinner. The front desk lady gave me a coupon for a free drink a nearby restaurant so i decided why not .. It was a great restaurant … I had a soup and fried Octopus 🐙, a second in as many days!!! It was a great dinner … After dinner I came straight back to the hotel as it was raining so… The end of  day 3!!! A great day …
